MCI offers full-service political campaign printing including yard signs (corrugated plastic with H-stakes), direct mail and voter contact postcards, door hangers for canvassing, palm cards and rack cards, campaign banners and rally signs, bumper stickers, and large-format headquarters signage. Every piece carries the union bug. We also handle bulk mailing and EDDM for campaign mail.

Many labor unions require the union bug (union label) on all campaign materials as a condition of their endorsement. The union bug certifies that materials were produced by union workers in a union shop. Campaigns seeking labor endorsements in union-strong states like Missouri and Illinois need the union bug on yard signs, mailers, door hangers, and all printed collateral. Standard turnaround for political yard signs is 3-5 business days from approved artwork. Rush production can deliver in 1-2 business days depending on quantity and current production schedule. Standard political yard sign sizes are 18" x 24" (most common for residential placement) and 24" x 36" (for high-visibility intersections). We also print 12" x 18" for tight spaces and custom sizes for special applications. All signs are printed on durable 4mm corrugated plastic with UV-resistant inks and include H-wire stakes. Both single-sided and double-sided printing are available.

Yes. MCI is a full-service print and mail shop. We print your campaign mailers, postcards, and voter contact pieces on our in-house presses, then walk them to our mailing department for addressing, sorting, and postal delivery. We offer USPS presort bulk mail for maximum postage savings and EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail) for precinct-level saturation mailings. One vendor, one invoice — your campaign literature never leaves our building until it is on a mail truck.

The union bug is a small emblem (also called a union label) that certifies printed materials were produced by union labor. It identifies the print shop, the relevant Allied Printing Trades Council, and the local union number. On yard signs, it typically appears on the back or lower corner. On mailers and door hangers, it appears near the printer identification line. The union bug is small and does not interfere with your campaign design, but it carries significant weight with labor organizations evaluating endorsements.
